literature.culinary.martial.fine.life. these are the arts that i follow.
i have produced many unpublished writings but am currently finishing my grand epic...
no traditional training in food but never seem to be able to make something strictly by the recipe, we can always progress...
life is a constant struggle with internal and external forces. studying martial arts helps to teach us how to deal with both types of conflict. by far this is my most adept skill in arts. my studies have been long and many and beyond that of just learning from a master. becoming a master student by teaching yourself through deep study is often the hardest and most beneficial path on the martial artist journey...
the pencil has often been my sanctuary and my tool. an imagination such as mine needs an outlet. though limited with the media and skills i have available, the paper and the pencil allow me to unless the smallest fraction of my delusions and help them be real... if only in so many dimensions...
children have a certain science and craft to them. unlike most work, being a father requires finesse and compassion, a thing often missed in masculinity. committing to the arts has meant committing to my children and providing them with a life and constant role model... i am not always perfect but i am and will always be there... there have been pitfalls and snares that have challenged me as a father, a husband, and a man. my family astounds me with it's ability to take these trials in stride. with our victories and triumphs being attained so has my muse been found.
losing the muse is hard for an artist even if he doesn't realize it. it corrodes us. eats at our very soul. it is a part of us that if missing may not even be cognitively noticed but is the cold stone at the pit of your stomach... keeping you from being you... tying you down and holding you back from being the person you are meant to be...
i will be me...

Had a good xmas( because I am too lazy to type the whole word out lol)... came out with a Wacom Bamboo Create Tablet. Having tech problems with getting it to function properly but I am still excited to have the eventual abilities it grants. anyways, working on lit more than graphics lately and I can't be posting the freebies to my book so you won't be seeing anything from me yet. maybe something here or there in the edits of old stuff but nothing new that I see in the near future. Sorry guys!

Had an awesome thanksgiving with the family! Deep Fried Turkey and I brought FRIED RICE!!! hahha eternally rebellious? no... just born to be Asian! Actually more accurately is that my wife's family is Korean and everyone that knew how to make fried rice kinda... died over the past couple years. Luckily I was born on the continent in the wrong era and have been doing Asian cooking for years. I tried my hand at fried rice and it was a hit with her family. So i am still working on character development while at the same time developing script and organizing page layouts and ideas. pretty busy with all of it actually. My friend has missed the past two meetings that we were supposed to set up but I am pretty used to that by now. I thin I am gonna take a break from uploading all my stuff as soon as it is done.
